Cryptozoic Entertainment is proud to release Wrath Gate, the company’s first set in the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game. To celebrate, we’re promoting the purchase of boxes directly through hobby stores with the Buy-A-Box promotion and the Wrath Gate Release Party.

With the Buy-A-Box promotion, players who purchase a box directly through official Cryptozoic Hobby Stores will receive a Torch of Holy Fire Extended Art promotional card. These cards are distributed through the official Cryptozoic distributors. The promo card is first-come, first-served. If a player purchases multiple boxes, it is up to the store’s discretion on how many cards that player receives.

This event introduces players to the new set, Wrath Gate, through Sealed Pack. We recommend players start with two (2) packs of Scourgewar and four (4) packs of Wrath Gate. Any player who participates receives one (1) Extended Art Father Gustav promo card. Allow them thirty (30) minutes to construct a deck of at least thirty (30) cards and one (1) hero card. When all players have finished constructing their decks, they may begin play.

The cost to play is to be determined by the store; since the store is selling six (6) packs of product to the players. This is not a Cryptozoic sanctioned tournament, so you may use any tournament software to run the event. Prizes are up to the store’s discretion.

Players may not trade cards for deck construction or play with their promo cards. The tournament organizer should collect all hero cards from players participating in the Release Party. Players may then collect their selected hero from the collection. If a hero is not available, they may proxy a hero from the hero table available on the Cryptozoic forums: http://cryptozoic.finddiscussion.com/. In the stickied area of the “Tournament and Organized Play Discussion,“ organizers will find the lists available in the “Hero Lists for the Release Party” thread.
