    Oceania Finals

    It's over ..!

SAM_2466After an intense day and the smoke has cleared, one duelist remains standing.

Congratulations to Aaron Dennis of Auckland, New Zealand,
    your first Oceania Championship winner!

Aaron and his opponent in the finals, Kevin Matsuoka,
a young duelist also from Auckland will be representing Oceania at the Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship in Amsterdam next month.

Both duelists managed to beat the competition, including impressive showings from duelists all over New Zealand and Australia in what has proven to be a very volatile format to take out the top spots.
This format has proven to be one of the most explosive formats that has been seen in a long time causing major upsets the entire day for players.

Congratulations goes out to all who made the top 8, which included former New Zealand National Champ Chris Gehring, 2011 National Champ finalist Oliver Parle and Australia's own Boden Temnyk.

Big thanks to all of those that travelled near and far to attend the first event of it's kind, the first Oceania Championship!

Congratulations to your Oceania Championship Top 8!
