It's official...

We've always known Yu-Gi-Oh! to be one of the greatest trading card games ever but now it's official. Guinness World Records has just announced that the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game to be the Best Selling Trading Card Game ever.

Since Konami first released the game in 1999, they have printed and sold over 25,175,567,833 cards. Break that down; That's over 25 BILLION cards printed and sold as of 31st of March 2011 and there have been even more cards printed since then, like the recently released Generation Force.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game is certainly showing no signs of slowing down either with upcoming releases of Generation Force Special Edition, Legendary Collection 2 and Photon Shockwave.

Certainly this game seems on the right path for another 25 Billion more cards.
