What's in store...?
Summer 2011 has some interesting things in store for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG in New Zealand.
This weekend has the sneak peek event for the latest set, Photon Shockwave! and also we have the Store Summer Series coming to stores during November through to January, where you can win awesome prizes by attending qualifiers and earning invites to attend the Store Summer Series Championship
Photon Shockwave!
Photon Shockwave! is the latest set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG and is the second in the Zexal series.
Following on from Generation Force, Photon Shockwave brings to you even more powerful XYZ monsters including Thunder End Dragon , with the ability to destroy all other monsters on the field by removing an XYZ material, or the much anticipated Evolzar Laggia with the ability to negate any summon or spell or trap card!
Photon Shockwave also has more support for themes. Wind-Up's gain more monsters, including the powerful Wind-Up Zenmaines who can protect itself from being destroyed and then destroy another card on the field!

Store Summer Series
In participating stores this Summer, you will find the Store Summer Series of tournaments. Each store will hold qualifiers where duelists can win some great prizes like deck boxes and Yu-Gi-Oh! brand back pack, plenty of boosters and an invitation card for the the main event, the Store Summer Series Championship!.
The Store Summer Series Championship is where qualified players compete to be crowned Store Summer Series Champion. Summer Series Store Champions also gain free entrance to Yu-Gi-Oh! Nationals 2012.
Invites will be limited to the Store Summer Series Championship event as only 2 invites are given out at each qualifier; 1 for the Winner of the event and 1 for the first unqualified player.
But what happens if the Winner already has an invite? If the Winner already has an invite they are allowed to trade or give it away to another duelist. Duelists do not have to use the invite in the store it was won in, but to compete in a Stores Finals they must of played in at least 1 Qualifier in that store.
Store Summer Series will help you keep in touch with your local store and other duelists during this Summer. But don't worry if you miss one Qualifier, as Store Summer Series Qualifiers will be held in store every 2 weeks! If you don't have a local store, ask your Tournament Organiser if they are holding any Store Summer Series events.

Store Summer Series Championship: In stores 21st or 22nd of January
